Resurfacing the road.
This busy city street in Anshan, China was recently resurfaced. New water mains and sewerage pipes were laid at the same time involving huge holes being dug along the length of the road. Throughout the operation, the traffic was never stopped or diverted. Diggers and road rollers had to negotiate round the other cars.
