Harbin
Located up in the far North East of China, Harbin has a reputation for being cold. Following from this, Harbin hosts a huge festival of Ice and Snow every year in winter. This festival draws tourists from all over the world.
Harbin has strong historical connections with Russia and this influence is still very apparent today.
The Siberian Tiger or North East Tiger is one of the rarest and most endangered animals. This big cat is almost extinct in the wild with just about 200 of the animals left in the wild and barely 1,000 in captivity. This is the largest of the big cats still extant. Harbin city in Heilongjiang, China, has the worlds largest breading centre for Siberian Tigers.
